Mojave Desert, Day 1 – October 25, 2014

Today starts the first day of a week-long trip to the Mojave Desert to test the Lita Drill integrated on the Lunar Exploration Light Rover (LELR). We will be working with NASA Ames and MDA to demonstrate the ability to collect drilling samples of interest and successfully navigate the terrain. We left Honeybee Robotic’s Pasadena office early this morning and arrived at the test location.DSCN9071
